FASTFREIGHT 2 “The New Generation”

Developed using the latest tools, Visual Basic 2008, SQL server and Crystal Reports, this is probably the latest and best Freight forwarding program in the world.
Its key features currently include:
1. MDI (Multiple Document Interface) with easy navigation through screens.
2. Company Information with Multiple company addresses and multiple contact information per address, contact persons.
3. Each job can be assigned unlimited (Air) ports with Date/Time and Estimated Date/Time of departures/arrivals.
4. Each Job can be recorded from warehouse to final destination.
5. Flexible choice of charges for Airway bill production.
6. Enhanced security feature allowing the administrator to create users and granting them access rights to specific forms (screens), with the choice of selected Add/Edit/Delete/Print rights only on THAT screen. When a user logs in, they will only see the forms to which they have been granted rights, furthermore, they will only be able to perform authorised actions (Add/Edit/Delete/Print) on each form. In this way, not only user access of the different screens will be controlled, but access to important MANAGEMENT reports can be controlled.
7. The System will keep a record of the users who initiated a job and who last modified it.
8. The Backend database is SQL Server, and therefore impossible for a normal user to get access to the database, unless access is given to the company’s server.
9. The User’s information is encrypted using the latest encryption technology and even managerial level users will not be able to obtain or amend FF2 users’ information by accessing the database directly.

This “New Generation programme” incorporates the feedback DATATEQ has gained from its many clients, over many years. Like all DATATEQ products, our Freight Forwarding solution will never be finished, always undergoing development.
Even now “the old” FASTFREIGHT is still being updated, as of the 20th of January, the program now interacts with SAD customs harmonisation in the UK and selected invoices can be omitted from transmission to the accounts package.

During 2008 hundreds of FASTFREIGHT users will have FASTFREIGHT 2 installed free of charge*. This will be a replacement, not an upgrade of FASTFREIGHT, which will incorporate the address book, amendments, unique documents and reports of the old system.
